Late Mr. Bandara was the father & grandfather of the second & third generations respectively to the Bandara Family, who are the current incumbents of this wonderful property. Since taking over from the Britishers, this entrepreneurial business family has transformed the business step by step, little by little, nurturing its values very carefully and preserving its age old traditions and genteel culture to what it is today. You will be able to hear everything about the history of tea from the colonial days and garner the entire school of knowledge on the processes, activities and beautiful tails of the art from them who are very sincere and courteous.

Treading through the trails in the middle of mesmerizing tea fields to behold the nifty plucking of the Tea Leaves by dexterous female tea pluckers completes the first phase.
